My Story

Born and raised in the scenic vistas of High River, Alberta, until the age of 7, Dr. Weeks moved to Lethbridge, where she cultivated her initial fascination with the intricate world of human vision.

After completing high school, she embarked on a transformative year abroad in France, an experience that broadened her perspectives and honed her appreciation for diverse cultures and languages—upon returning to Canada, Dr. Weeks pursued her undergraduate studies at Mount Royal University (MRU) in Calgary, further solidifying her passion for optometry and eye care.

Dr. Weeks is a proud Pacific University College of Optometry graduate, where she excelled in her academic and clinical training. Her dedication and commitment to her profession were evident through her rigorous rotations in Oregon and Arizona, enabling her to gain extensive experience in various aspects of optometry, including advanced patient care and cutting-edge vision technology.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Weeks is an avid adventurer and outdoor enthusiast. Whether snowboarding down the powdery slopes of the Rockies, camping under the starlit sky, or fishing in serene lakes, she finds solace and rejuvenation in nature. Her dedication to her community matches her love for the outdoors, often traversing the landscapes of Alberta and Saskatchewan to support her husband in the oil and gas industry, demonstrating her commitment to her family and the local economy.

A self-proclaimed "cat person," Dr. Weeks cherishes her moments of tranquillity at home with her beloved cat, indulging in her love for reading and embracing the simple joys of life. Travelling remains a passion, providing her endless opportunities to explore new destinations, cultures, and experiences, enriching her personal and professional life.
